Condition
The colors are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the red color is more subdued in the original work.
This work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined.
Under close inspection, few hairline cracks are visible in the lower left quadrant, located at 7 cm from the left edge and 6 cm from the lower edge.
Under UV light inspection, few hairline cracks and a carefully retouching (approx. 1 x 1 cm) are visible in the left part of the painting, located at 13 cm from the left edge and 28 cm from the upper edge.
The back of the work shows a trace of an ancient restoration, not visible to the eye and under UV light inspection.
This work is in very good condition.
