Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter in the original work. The work is on its original canvas and is not relined. Only visible under UV light inspection, careful retouchings are located along the upper edge and in the lower right corner. Only visible under close inspection, two areas of hairline cracks in the impasto are located at 40 cm from the upper edge and 40 cm from the right edge and at 30 cm from the upper edge and 50 cm from the left edge. This work is in very good condition.

Catalogue Note
