Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter in the original work. The image does not convey the texture and richness of the impasto.
The work is on its original canvas and is not relined.
A tiny lack of painting is visible under close inspection in the middle of the left edge.
Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching.
This work is in excellent condition.
