Condition

Please note that the picture of the work is not illustrated in the right sense in the paper version of the catalogue. The original is upside down. Please refer to picture of the work available on the internet. The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality of the background is a darker grey in the original. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. Under UV light, no trace of retouching fluoresces. In the lower right quadrant (8 cm from the right edge and 15 cm from the bottom edge), a dent is visible (approx. 5 cm). In the lower left corner, a scuff is visible (approx. 3 cm). A small area of light superficial cracks (approx. 4 cm) is visible under close inspection, located at 75 cm from the left edge and 35 cm from the lower edge. The work is in very good condition.
