  • A Roman Fresco Fragment
  • Plaster with pigments in a leather case
  • 4 by 3 1/4 in. 10.1 by 8.3 cm.
painted with the upper figure of a woman turned to her left, laying her left hand on a a flat surface, and bringing her right hand to her breast, and wearing a heavy mantle over a tunic, her hair bound in a chignon.
