turned to his right, his hair falling in comma-shaped locks over the forehead and over the nape of the neck, curls escaping before the ears, the crown of the head once carved separately and now missing, possible remains of drapery against the left side of the neck.

Condition

As shown and described, surface weathered overall, nose missing as shown, once restored in plaster, scattered chips and abrasions including a significant chip on the proper right side of the chin, the rims of the ears chipped, crown and back of head lacking and probably carved separately as described.
