Description
- An Egyptian Turquoise Faience Figure of a Ram

- Length 2 9/16 in. 6.5 cm.; Height 1 7/8 in. 4.8 cm.
recumbent on a fragmentary oblong base with the head turned to the right and the left foreleg raised, with ribbed horns and short tail, the details painted in black.

acquired by the present owner’s late husband in the 1970s

Condition
As shown; note right end of the base along with the proper left fore-hoof is missing. The proper left horn is partially missing (along with the tip of the ear), as is the tip of the right horn. Small chip at top of right horn in back. Other chips as shown. Left end of base has a chip on the corner. Otherwise excellent.
