Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in good condition. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET: scattered spots of restoration (about 9 of them) mostly in the sky and in the upper right quadrant; inpainting to address abrasion along the right edge; strengthening to the first three letters of the artist's signature at lower right; evidence of a repaired tear at lower left, in the shape of a horizontal "T", about 1.5 inches long.
