Condition
canvas is lined and backed by a cradled panel. SURFACE: in fairly good condition; several curiving diagonal scratches at center; scattered craquelure throughout (heavier in the right half of the picture - particularly among the dark pigments); good texture and pigment retention; despite re-lining, depth has not been signficantly flattened. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET: craquelure fill-in to the darks of the right half of the picture (trees).
