SURFACE: in good condition UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: scattered strokes of inpainting in sky and in leaves of trees at center; work was selectively cleaned at one time--central area (particularly lights) is cleaned--edges are, for the most part, under old varnish (as is signature); some inpainting along extreme edges
