in good condition; tip of upper left corner has worn away (backed by an old piece of brown tape from an earlier framing); sheet is hinged to backing with two small pieces of tape along the upper edge, verso (sheet is recessed from glass, so as to protect pastel); paper is stamped with 'strathmore artist" stamp at lower right corner
