Condition

Good condition; four pinholes appear at the bottom edge of the illustration board, and one pinhole at the center top edge of the board; the work was recently lightly cleaned; slight oxidization is evident in the board but is in stable condition; Under UV: no apparent restoration nor inpainting is evident. Please see the below report, provided by Julius Lowy Frame & Restoring Company, Inc. The artwork is a watercolor and gouache painting which has been executed on illustration board. The support is mildly oxidized but is in good and stable condition as are the media layers. Ultraviolet examination reveals a normal fluorescence of the artist's pigments with no prior restoration visible. There are several apparent artist changes along the edges. The artwork is signed in brown in the lower left quadrant: O. C. Seltzer. The artwork is clean and is in good condition.
