Description

  • deer skin, glass beads
each sinew sewn in bright blue lazy-stitched glass beadwork, the bag with four squares on one side and a pair of butterfly designs on the reverse, surmounting a re-purposed cut painted parfleche section, wrapped in porcupine quillwork, the quirt with concentric diamonds, attached to a beaded hide wrist-strap.

Condition

The quillwork section on the bag is heavily worn; fringe is unruly but soft; two areas of separation. The quirt is in very good overall condition.
