carved from wood, the lock forged by a blacksmith, the barrel of Western manufacture and wrapped with Cow (Bos taurus) hide.

Condition
Good condition for an object of this type and age. Age cracks to wood element, including one on side not pictured in catalogue photograph; this side also with a missing hardware element. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and small chips consistent with age and use. Metal elements with fine aged oxidized patina. Wood handle with fine glossy varied brown patina. Leather with fine glossy aged patina.
