Catalogue Note
The Jewish hospital was founded in 1911. These pieces are connected with a fund raising campaign that allowed them to move to a new building on Nieiwe Achtergracht in 1926. They expanded again just before the war but on March 1, 1943, all of the residents, both staff and patients, were deported to the camps.
