With the Hebrew inscription: Dov Ber, son of Koppel, born on Wednesday 4 Nissan [5]514 (=27 March 1754) and with the traditional blessings. Embellished with flowering vines, an image of a ram, symbolizing Aries and representing the month of Nissan, flowering vines, a crowned Torah scroll with the opening words of the Ten Commandments, and an unusual group of elegantly dressed wedding party standing under a marriage canopy. A Hebrew inscription at the opening indicates that the wimple was donated by Dov Ber. The artist who decorated this binder, Yokel ha-Cohen signed his name in the final panel.

Condition
Sewn in 4 panels. The first panel with small tears repaired and darned with cotton thread. Some staining throughout.
