Condition
Overall very good original condition. The top of the table with a few minor scattered surface scratches and light abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. With some minor rubbing to the patina throughout. With light surface dirt to the metal surfaces concentrated in the recessed portions of the design consistent with age and gentle use. The amorphous table top form is accented by textural linear decoration in the acid-etched decoration which is highlighted by the golden and brown tones of the patinated brass. The table presents as slightly less red than seen in the catalogue illustration. When viewed in person the table shows dynamic sense of scale and form. A rare form by the LaVernes to appear on the auction market.
