Condition
Overall very good condition. Approximately two of the steel wires with evidence of subtle bending consistent with gentle handling. The vast majority of steel wires present in very good condition. With some oxidation and discoloration to the base consistent with the natural aging of the material. This is an early example of this form that demonstrates Bertoia's affinity for combining metalwork with sublime sound elements. This piece is an early example of Bertoia's work that is intended for movement and touch.
