Catalogue Note
As a prominent mid-century architect, Lina Bò Bardi was involved in collaborative efforts with the Gio Ponti office and co-edited Domus earlier in her career. Later she moved to Brazil where she designed the São Paolo and Urbanism and taught at the São Paolo University College of Architecture and Urbanism. This folding chair with leather seat and backsplat is an example of her work focused on functionality and versatility through form and materials.
