Condition

Overall very good condition. Both bowls have been inspected under blacklight and do not show evidence of any previous restoration. The bowl with pink decoration to its interior with some very small areas of loss to the glaze on the exterior side of the bowl, measuring less than ΒΌ inch in diameter. The glaze treatment and gold tones complement each other with vibrant pink, orange, teal and blue tones for one bowl and cream, lavender, dark purple, and gold for the other bowl. The surface is delicately made and retains some irregularities inherent in the making. The underside of the base is unglazed and with rubbing to the surfaces consistent with age and light use.
