Overall in very good original condition. Including all original hardware and the ceiling cap. With some minor oxidation and spots of discoloration to nickel-plated surfaces. The glass elements with minor surface scratches and some minor air bubble inclusions and scattered tool marks to the exterior edges inherent in the production process. Catalogue Note
This chandelier was custom-desgned for a private commission for an office interior in Rome. A variant of the initial production model, the present example is larger and incorporates more glass elements than the original design. This example also differs through the use of nickel-plating rather than the more frequent use of brass for the hardware. This is a rare model with only two other known production examples in existence to date.
