Condition

Overall very good original condition. The chromium-plated surfaces with some very minor surface scratches, light rubbing, scattered pitting, very minor tarnishing and some light discolorations throughout consistent with age and gentle handling. The underside side of the tray with a few minor surface abrasions, the longest measuring 2 3/8 in. long. This offering comprises all elements of the original design: shaker, cups and tray. An iconic American Modernist design showing Bel Geddes' interest in the modern metropolis as a source of inspiration for his pared down forms and the architectonic aesthetic popular during the 1930s.
