Condition

Overall in very good condition. With minor scattered surface scratches throughout the glass panels consistent with age and gentle use. Some of the glass panels with fold lines inherent in the making. The patiné is consistent throughout. The wood mahogany surfaces are in very good condition with a few minor nicks and scratches to the proper right top border. The underbase with several minor surface scratches consistent with gentle handling, the longest measuring approximately 7 in. The interior of the box with minor surface scratches throughout and some minor wear to the brass hardware consistent with the natural aging of material. The frosted glass presents with a deep luminescence and delicate sculptural surface. The coloration of the frosted glass presents with a silver hue in person and the grain of the mahogany is slightly darker and richer in color than represented in the catalogue photo.
