Condition
Overall in good condition. Each present with evidence of a later finish and with some minor cracking to the veneer consistent with age and technique. The tops of each with minor gentle nicks, scratches and abrasions consistent with gentle age and use. One of the tables with evidence of water discolorations to the lower open shelf. The other table with minor staining to the marble interior and with two long restored breaks in the marble to one of the upright side panels. One end table with a number of splits and cracks to wood where screws hold the back panel in place. Please note that when this suite of furniture was originally offered for sale by Sotheby's in 1979, there was only one bedside table in the group. Therefore these are presently sold as a matched pair.
