Condition
Overall in very good condition. This vase has been examined under blacklight, and there is no visible evidence of any prior restoration. The top surface of the handle with very light rubbing consistent with gentle use. The interior with three small and minor areas of soiling. The decoration throughout is finely executed with crisp dimensionality and strong saturated colors. A particularly bold example by Overbeck distinguished by its impressive scale, strong abstract landscape motif and highly artistic glaze treatment.
