Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 12-15 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. A few of these cracks appear to have been sensitively stabilized in the past. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display an exceptionally deep and rich russet brown and green patina. The bronze surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches, light rubbing and some minor traces of surface residue consistent with age and gentle use. Two of the six sockets appear to be old replacements, and the remaining sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. With a period “Pigtail” finial which displays a corresponding patina to the base. The finial with a small surface bruise to the outer perimeter, and with a small fracture with a short stable separation (1/4 inch in length) to the bottom perimeter edge of the finial. A very attractive example of the model with strong visual presence.
