Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with no visible edge wear or condition issues to the top aperture rim. The favrile glass with a few minute air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The vertical pulled feather decoration embellishing the shade is superbly rendered, showing great control and artistry. The exterior of the shade is beautifully iridized, which effectively differentiates the golden pulled feather decoration against the green background and imparts the shade with strong luminous color when viewed with reflected light. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display a superb patina, with rich and vibrant tones of russet brown and green. The bronze surfaces throughout with some occasional surface scratches and abrasions, light rubbing to the patina, and with surface soiling to the recessed decorative contours of the base and counterweight consistent with age and gentle use. The socket and paddle switch appear original and undisturbed, and the interior of the socket retains its original cardboard insulator. An impressive unit displaying highly artistic decoration to the shade and a superb rich patina to the base.
