Condition
Overall excellent original condition. The surfaces of this chair were executed per the artistÂ’s intent to encourage participation from the viewers. Therefore the chair presents with minor intentional impressions and designs. This was part of the concept behind this artwork and other larger scale mural executed by the artist. The surface of the foil with minor lines, scratches and unevenness to the surface that was inherent in the production of this work. This chair with markings, and impressions covering the seat and seat back. There is a minor loss to the foil to the backrest measuring approximately one inch in length which reveals the yellow insulation underneath the foil. The three chairs offered in the auction are the only known explorations by Stingel in the form of chairs
