Condition
Overall in very good condition. The frames of these chairs are executed with finely carved floral details. The wooden elements with some minor surface scratches, rubbing to the highpoints along the armrests and some minor seam separations consistent with age. The lower portion of the legs with concentrated areas of the edge nicks, finish losses and some surface scratches expected with gentle use. The upholstery is later and is executed in a manner consistent with the original design. The upholstery is velvet and the lighter areas visible in the catalogue photograph are less significant when viewed in person. Some of these lighter areas are the result of wear to the fabric from use. These chairs present well in person with a nice carved details and with good proportion.
