The bronze surfaces throughout display a rich brown patina, showing gentle rubbing and light surface soiling in some of the recessed contours consistent with age and use. Two very small and minor losses to the patina to the front surface of the backplate, as seen in the catalogue illustration. These two areas are not visible once the frame is properly inset with a photograph. The favrile glass has likely been sensitively replaced. Lacking a period clear glass front.
