Condition
Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 25-30 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout the shade. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display an exceptionally rich green and russet brown patina, with a few light surface scratches, minor surface abrasions and gentle rubbing to the patina consistent with age and gentle use. One of the three shade arms on the base has an old fracture located close to the base standard which shows evidence of an old repair (this fracture shows a minor separation but is stable). This shade arm is bent slightly out of alignment which is only visible under close examination of the base without the shade. The small threaded bronze button which screws above the socket cluster on the base is missing (if desired this component could be easily replaced). All of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. Two of the six tiny screws securing the base plate on the underside of the base are missing (the base plate shows slight movement but is entirely secure). With period drop finial by Tiffany Studios which displays a corresponding patina to the base, and which has a small shallow surface indentation adjacent to the outer perimeter border. An attractive example of the model, with deep amber rippled glass used to articulate the flower centers. The base is particularly well cast with fine crisp decoration.
