Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 5 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. With surface soiling most notably to the Greek Key band along the recessed contours of the shade leading and to the recessed contours and folds of the glass consistent with age. The amber background passages are articulated with granite glass which is textured on the reverse side of the shade and adds visual interest and depth to the glass. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display a rich russet brown and green patina, with some occasional surface scratches, abrasions, gentle rubbing to the patina on the high points of the design, and surface soiling and darkening to the patina along the recessed contours of the cushion base consistent with age and use. All of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. The cord bushing located at the central aperture on the underside of the base has come loose and is presently lodged just beneath the cord aperture. With period finial by Tiffany Studios which displays a corresponding patina to the base. The coloration of the shade is a deep amber and when viewed in person is slightly less orange and red than seen in the catalogue illustration.
