Condition
Overall in excellent original condition. The shade is in superb shape and as noted in the catalogue, two different artists contributed to the decorative scheme of the shade. The metal aperture is loose but stable. One white scratch approx 1 inch long at the interior paint close to aperture. A moderate and perfectly dipped chipped ice finish to the exterior of the shade. The screw connecting the finial to the base is stripped and we have added an additional hardware element underside the finial to stabilize. However, the shade still sits slightly askew and a replacement screw is still needed. The bronzed finish appears original with mild oxidation throughout. A crisply painted landscape and overall an excellent quality that is extremely fresh to the market.
