Condition
Overall very good condition. The favrile glass elements in each candlestick are in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making. One shade with approximately 3-4 minute surface flecks to the top rim. Each presents with strong luminous color and iridescence throughout. These two works are an assembled pair as seen in the catalogue illustration, and vary slightly in color, especially at the lower portion of the base. Each retains a period favrile glass chimney, as seen in the catalogue illustration. The bases appear to retain the original and undisturbed oil burners. The metal elements with minor surface oxidation consistent with age and gentle use.
