Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 6 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, including one tile with multiple fractures that appears to have been stabilized in the past with glue. The patinated bronze base displays exceptionally fine and crisp details to the decoration with a deep rich brown patina. The bronze surface throughout with some occasional light surface scratches, surface abrasions, and soiling to the recessed contours of the design consistent with age and gentle use. With some very minor and light surface oxidation around the perimeter contours of the decorative bronze rivets on the base cushion, and with a few very small paint specks. The three shade arms on the base are slightly bent askew and the shade sits slightly unevenly as a result. (If desired the shade arms could be mechanically manipulated into proper alignment.) All three sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. Each socket retains its original bakelite insulator. One bakelite insulator is cracked in two places on the exterior but still fully stable on the socket, and another has a small 1/4 inch chip to the perimeter edge. With a replaced decorative bronze finial. A beautiful example of the model with a well-varied and artistic glass selection. The glass with greater variation and nuance when viewed in person than seen in the catalogue illustration.
