Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 18 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, including one quadrant of the shade above the lower tile border with a concentration of cracks likely the result of a prior impact. All of the Turtle Back tiles appear to be original and undisturbed, with a few small and minor perimeter edge fecks. Two of the adjacent Turtle Back tiles with small shallow surface flecks to the bottom right corners. Another tile with what appears to be a small old loss to the top perimeter border approximately ¼ inch in length adjacent to the leading (only visible upon close inspection). The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display an exceptional rich and vibrant russet brown and green patina. The bronze surfaces with some light surface scratches, surface abrasions, rubbing, and a few minor areas of patina loss consistent with age and use. The telescopic device on the base functions smoothly. All six of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. With a period finial by Tiffany Studios which displays a corresponding patina to the base. A highly complementary shade and base pairing which displays beautifully in person. The base is particularly impactful with a superb rich patina.
