Overall in excellent original condition. Please note there is no East Indian rosewood listed under the materials for this lot in the auction catalogue. This was an error and this table never included rosewood keys This table with a wonderful and dramatic freeform shape. The board selected for the top presents is person with more saturated coloration and bold figuring than it appears in the catalogue illustration. This piece has been very sensitively maintained and shows only very gentle evidence of the use. With a few scattered surface scratches to top and lower portion of the legs, consistent with use. With a few small and minor edge chips to the thin exterior edge of the top, which are not visible once the table is righted. A wonderful example of Nakashima’s design aesthetic.
