Condition
Overall good condition. This set appears to be an original pairing. With minor scratches, nicks, rubbing and surface dirt consistent with use. Some of the plating is presently uneven, which appears original to the pieces. The gilt plating with occasional areas of lifting and losses to the vertical supports below the top of the vanity. The reverse of the proper left leg with the largest area of loss to the finish measuring 8 ½ inches in length which reveals the natural dark color of the metal. With other small losses, bubbling, minor lifting and minor discoloration to the legs concentrated primarily to the reverse and the interior surfaces. The glass panels to the top of the vanity with light surface scratches consistent with gentle use. The plated panels with some surface soiling and possibly minor rubbing beneath the glass panels. The center portion opens to reveal a inset mirror and mirror-fitted storage area. The stool appears to have been recently re-upholstered and therefore shows only very gentle use. The metal frame of the stool is minor rubbing, surface scratches and a few occasional edge losses, consistent with use.
