Condition
Overall in good condition. The chair presents with surface dirt throughout and rubbing to both the gold and blue painted surfaces. One of the vertically oriented blue hands to the backrest is presently detached but has been retained. The horizontally oriented hands to the legs of the chair with one finger missing on the proper right leg. With a few minor edge chips to the hands along the legs of the chair. The caned seat with one minor break and loss to the cane measuring less than one inch in length. One thumb of the gold painted vertical hands along the back of the seat with discoloration as seen in the catalogue illustration. A very nice and detailed example of the designers aesthetic.
