Condition
Overall very good condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making. The top aperture rim of the shade with a small chip and an edge fleck, which both minor and are not visible once the shade is installed in the base. The shade displays beautifully defined feather decoration with strong color and iridescence. The counter-balance base displays an exceptionally gilt metallic finish with very light rubbing consistent with age and gentle use. The base retains its original socket, paddle switch and bronze screw terminals which secure the shade. A fine example of this counterbalance lamp model, displaying strong decoration and color to the shade.
