Overall very good condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making. The shade with beautifully defined pulled-feather decoration with strong color and iridescence. Minor rubbing to the immediate lower edge of the shade decoration. With an inherent minute irregularity to the lower rim of the shade, likely a suspended air bubble. The lower glass element of the base with a few very small and minor air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making. The glass base element with finely articulated decoration and when viewed with reflected light displays strong luminous tones of aqua, blue and magenta which are more saturated than in catalogue illustration. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich green and russet brown patina, with very minimal surface wear and rubbing consistent with age and gentle use. The base has not been coverted to electricity and retains retain its original oil burner, burner switch and shade arms. This lamp is being offered with a non-Tiffany Studios threaded element fitted with an electrical socket, which can replace the oil burner element if desired for electrical conversion.
