Condition

Overall in very good original condition. This screen is large scale work and very impressive when viewed in person. the sycamore paneling is highly detailed and with wonderful figuring. Each of the panels with a few minor surface scratches and some minor discoloration to the immediate top and lower edge consistent with use (approximately 1 1/2 inches high). With a few minor chips at the edges of the panels. The decorative scheme is executed in silver foil and is consistent in color across the scheme. The slight variation in color seen in the catalogue illustration is a result of reflections and metallic finish of the material. With some very light rubbing to the decorative scheme. The reverse is executed in the same sycamore but without a decorative scheme. With some minor immediate edge losses to the reverse and surface scratches. The hardware appears original and undisturbed. The metal with some minor discoloration consistent with age. This piece presents very strongly when viewed person.
