Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The screen retains a rich patina throughout. With some minor surface scratches from handling, but it does not appear that the screen was used in a working fireplace. With some minor rubbing to the finish and some scattered surface dirt. With one very minor break to the soldering along the fountain decorative motif that does not impact the structural integrity of the screen and is easily restored should one desire to do so.
