Condition
Ivory with age cracks now filled with dirt and some lifting, with the most extensive age cracks to the central panel; some minor losses to the ivory banding; the penwork is still in good overall condition; ebonized surface has some minor cracking, scratches, and small chips; base with scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use; almost all of the mouldings on the bases of the legs are missing; one square base with a break to the corner so that the corner (approximately 3 by 1 in.) is loose but not entirely detached; on that same leg one of the mouldings at the top of the leg is also loose.
