Catalogue Note

Although it has not yet been possible to attribute the design of this unusual pair of candelabra to a leading Parisian firm and designer, the manufacture is nonetheless of the highest quality and standards of the time. It is possible that this very finely cast mixed medium pair of candelabra in the Orientalist vein was retailed by Maison Escalier de Crystal.
