Description

  • height 31 1/2 in.; width 78 in.; depth 38 in.
  • 79 cm; 198 cm; 97 cm
fitted with three frieze drawers and flanked with large Chinese figure bust-chutes to each corner, the top fitted with a black leather writing surface

Condition

Overall in good condition and presentation with the usual tarnishing to gilt bronze, scratches and dents to ebony veneer; To the proper right side and both corners one can notice to the top, restorations to the engraved brass inlay most probably due to former brass inlay lifting from the carcass also visible is some overpaint restoration; the bronze has been cleaned but not regilded. The leather top is a later replacement.
