overall in good condition, the bronze mounts are very well cast, one can notice minor chips to edges of marble, and overall with the usual tarnishing and dirt to gilt bronze, note that there is a visible restoration to the edge of one lid from a break of approximately 2 1/2 inches long by a quarter of an inch wide
