each reserved on either side with a gilt-edged rectangular panel, the ground richly gilt with foliate scrollwork, the first painted with 'Rinaldo and Armida' or 'Erato and Euterpe', the second with 'Endymion and Diana' or 'Ariadne on Naxos', affixed on either side with an eagle-head handle, the stand with rectangular panels decorated with oriental landscapes in gilding, pseudo shield marks and inscribed titles.
