modeled with a figure of cupid, inscribed to each base Moreau Sculpteur and holding aloft six foliate and berried-cast candle branches

Condition

Patinated bronze with typical surface scratches, dirt to surface and especially to crevices, and wear to patina of bronze especially to areas of high relief; gilding with wear and losses to expose bronze beneath with the flowers attached to the bodies retaining the most of their gilding; some areas of surface oxidation with verdigris; scratches to fluted column base with small chips to edges; gilt-bronze base also with oxidation and losses and wear to gilding to expose bronze beneath.
