the top fitted with a gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface, two frieze drawers, one crab-like shell mount has been removed to reveal the mark FL from the bronze master model

Condition

Leather inset with some scratches, dents, and stains. Veener with occasional scratches and some very minor age cracks; gilt-bronze mounts with some wear and rubbing especially to edges and corners; some small chips to the veneer of the legs; the inside upper portion of the legs with largest losses to veneer (the largest being about 2 inches) and subsequent flaking; one leg with a small (2 cm) section of inpaint; scratches and scuffs to legs.
